I get crops of really painful mouth ulcers, sometimes 5 or more at a time. Up until recently I've not been able to do anything about them, as nothing helps, but at the weekend I bought a tube of Iglu - it's brilliant! As soon as I used it the pain subsided and they seem to be healing already.

I'm not advertising, but I thought it might be worth sharing!

Not heard of that one - I use Bonjela when I get any.

It forms a seal over the ulcer and it stops hurting almost straight away.

I remember years ago my dad told me to rub neat salt into my ulcers so I did - I had tears running down my face afterwards! When I told my mum her words were if your dad told you to jump off a bridge would you do it?!?!

Glad it's giving you some comfort, I don't normally suffer I must admit but have seen that advertised on TV.

I find stamping on my toe stops mouth ulcers hurting ... or it take your mind off it

I'll try that next time Skip [;)]

I get clusters of ulcers if I drink milk... dairy products are a big trigger for ulcers as are some toothpastes.

Mine had gone within a couple of days and it didn't hurt like some of the so called cures!

I'm not sure what triggers mine, but I can't use some toothpastes as the skin around my mouth cracks, and if I eat oranges it has the same effect.
