Hi and welcome
Yes is the short answer.
You can even obtain a mortgage whilst in an IVA at a reasonable rate

My Iva is complete (although still on my credit file for another 4 years) and i just got a mortgage of 6.65...i went through Leybridge who are brokers that can search the whole market to find the right deal for you.

Angie and Andy are absolutely right.

A good broker with access to the whole mortgage market can explain all of your options to you.

Hi debtfreeoneday

Yes you can as long as your IVA is conducted satisfactorily, and as Andy says you can remortgage during your IVA as long as you have the permission of your IP / creditors.

(Thanks Angie)

Yes you are able to remortgage as previously stated with permission of your IP . The rate will reflect your own personal circumstances and rates offerEd to others in similar circumstances i.e. IVA should not be a yardstick for you to expect the same rates. Each case is judged on it`s individual merits. Tony
