Me and hubby were chatting the other day and I thought it might make for a good forum discussion.

It started with the question There must be more to life than this?!

Which led to a discussion about how our lives are all about working, paying debts, more work, etc, etc.

We then started talking about what we want our lives to be like.

So, now we have set ourselves goals, to make our lives what we want them to be.

So my thought was this. We must all have ideas of small things that can make our lives just that little bit more enjoyable. A walk along the beach. A cuddle from the kids. So I thought we could share them with each other.

So here's mine.

Despite all the stresses and strains of my life, a cuddle from my cat makes me feel better. [:D]

you are so right, I find myself constantly thinking about paying debts and work.

The little things that bring tears to my eyes are when my 2 1/2 year old says 'I love you mummy' and gives me a big cuddle and when she tells me 'I am her best friend in the world'

Couldn't agree more johnz. I love comming home to a big hug from my dog. I have got to leave him for 5 dyas soon as have a big event I need to go away with work for and am dreading it[:(]
Sounds silly to some but I don't have children and have always had animals of some description and love nothing more than a walk with my dog accross the fields...if I can keep up with him that is[:)]

I hope you are feeling a bit brighter on your medication and things have sorted themselves now. Maybe if you are still having trouble sleeping you need to take tablets earlier in the morning[:)]
Be positive & look after yourself, there are more important things in life than debts....

Best Wishes

Emma x

It is definitely the simple pleasures that get you through isn't it? Mine, like Emma's, is my dog. He is a real comedian (Staffie) and it doesn't matter how down I get, he always makes me smile and if I'm crying, he'll just come over and put his paw on me as if to say "Its okay mummy".
