My leaky valves haven't got any worse. The complete rest and new medications, have stalled things for the time being. I still need fixing of course, the next thing on the agenda is for me to keep a diary of any further episodes of atrial fibrillation, especially on exertion, if so, I can call the hospital and they will get me in ASAP for something called a MAZE ablation, which will get rid of the nerves and pathways by lasers and magic stuff. That in itself will take about 6 hours but will rid me of all these palpitations and dizziness, which cause my symptoms of heart failure and put extra strain on my heart. I'm happy with the decision and the journey begins properly now. Get rid of AF now and I won't have it post surgery hopefully, which is quite common. All good, though ultimately a 37 year old man should not find himself in this position, but everything is happening this way for a reason, and I can so deal with it.
