I got my last pay rise in April but will receive it at the end of July with back pay. We need to give the house a lick of paint in line with our tenancy agreement especially as we're looking to move next year to a bigger house so we can start a family. What are the chances of being able to keep my back pay money towards the cost of decorating and towards the costs of moving? A long shot I know!

Hi. Afraid the only person who can answer that is your IP. You may get to keep 50% of it, which I suppose is better than nothing. Speak to your IP asap, then at least you will know where you stand.
