Hello all, I'm a bit worried as one of my creditors is reporting a missed payment on my credit report and not a default - even though the last time I paid was a year ago (when I started my IVA). I'm worried that this will prolong the amount of time that this particular account stays on my credit file, as all the others with defaults will drop off after 6 years (5 now! Woohoo). I've heard that sometimes this happens and then it sticks on your credit file for another 6 years AFTER you've completed your IVA.

Have a look here: https://www.iva.co.uk/what-does-an-iva- ... dit-record and use the template to request that the creditor registers the account as in default from the date of the start of the IVA.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014
