Hello all,

I have eventually found time to come back to the site[:)]

I have missed reading about how everyone is doing so instead of the IVA related debt post here is my social update:

Wife has become a dental nurse after starting at the surgery as a receptionist. Quite funny as she completed her college course at my college so have made even more work colleagues now.

Eldest son has not done well in taking his AS levels a year early so he starts at college in September to do them all again. In his words "Epic Fail"

Youngest son has had a minor/major op on his heart so this will hopefully sustain him now for another 3+ years until his next major op. Oh and we were an active part in saving Southampton's Childrens Heart Unit.

Myself, well fought of depression for 12 months, become a shining star at work and now going for promotion unfortunately at the exspense of a close friend who is off long term sick. [:)][:(]

Managed to survive 33 months of IVA, but in a little sticky patch at mo but hey ho we are in it for the long run, so have come back on the forum for cheering up, guidance, madness etc.

PS anyone on here taking part in the Corporate Global Challenge?

I'll be back soon,
Martyn

Well done on your wifes change of career path. Not a fail just didn't achieve on this occasion but now he knows he will do brilliantly at college hopefully.

Hope your youngest continues with good health and the next op goes accordingly. Well done on being an active part in Saving the heart unit.

Good luck with the promotion.

Not sure what the corporate global challenge is if I'm honest.

all the best. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I'll do that as I've been using Dr Google this afternoon and put myself in a right mood! Might cheer me up! I must stay away from google. x
