Hi All and again thanks for the feedback, it is really nice to be able to get advice from people who work in this world and who are experiencing this also.
I guess when you have a good job and the way the banks were throwing money at me and the death of my mother all together were a recipe for disaster. But overall no excuse and I would advise anyone to stay clear of easy loans and CC...

I am going to construct a letter with all my incomings and outgoings and hopefully will get a variation. (Will keep you posted)

Question : I had an unsecured loan attached to my mortgage which is included in my IVA. If I sold my house which would have enough equity in it now to more than cover the IVA, would this be a possibility to clear my IVA. Or because it was part of the mortgage would that only clear the loan?

You will have to check your IVA proposal, but it is likely that if you sell your house, then you will have to pay the net proceeds, or at least your share thereof, into the IVA, it would not go just to clear the unsecured loan attached to the mortgage. If this is sufficient to clear the IVA, then as the unsecured loan is included in the IVA, that will be cleared too.
