This forum is a great support mechanism and I have found it extremely useful for quick advice etc - Andy - thank you for stopping some of the unnecessary, nasty, hurtful remarks - we all have our own views however these should not be heard via this forum !

Keep smiling everyone - things can only get better for us all!

Hi Optimist
You seem to feel that the way that you dealt with your IVA should be the "norm" for all. .......
To be honest I am tired of your views and postings and as such have decided to remove you from the forum

Thanks for that Andy, I've been wanting to say say that for months but didn't have the intestinal fortitude. His kind of 'holier than thou' attitude is why I've stopped posting.
When I was young I was called a rugged individualist
When I was in my fifties I was considered eccentric
Here I am doing and saying the same things I did back then and now I'm labelled senile

I dont think posters like the idea of being kicked while they are down and i think sometimes OPTIMIST can make people feel that way, whether intentionally or not.
People come here for support and advice, not critisism.
Dont get me wrong, he has also raised some really interesting topics BUT of late some of his posts have made really uncomfortable reading.

Well done Andy, I have had to bite my tongue on numerous occasions not to reply to some of OPTIMISTS more inflammatory and patronising posts.
We debtors should stick together and support each other with good useful advice, not criticism, that's what the forum is for, some of the advice I've received has been invaluable, without it I would have gone under.
Once again well done!!!

You seem to feel that the way that you dealt with your IVA should be the "norm" for all. Your view is that anybody taking on an IVA should have thought about it very carefully, researched thoroughly and above all must be thankful to ther creditors that they have been allowed to enter into an IVA.
To be honest I am tired of your views and postings and as such have decided to remove you from the forum

Well done Andy,
I sometimes wondered if that person was actually employed by a credit card company or similar due to the nature of the posts!!??
I'm glad members can now relax and not be judged..
Best wishes,
