I would go to the docs and get it confirmed that it is a migraine.

Defo go to the doctor! Sumatriptan doesn't work for me but it is great for lots of people. I prefer almogran or almotriptan but if you don't get in quickly nothing will help...if you've got the headache it's too late and you just need to sleep it off!

I get thm up to three or four times a week so am pretty good at spotting the warning signs...when you try to work them out don't forget they cn start the day before. Crazy energy levels followed by a crashing tiredness mid-afternoon often let me know I'll wake up with a migraine the next day. Yawning, feeling like you need to pee and stiff muscles are also worth looking out for...and bumping into things or being more clumsy than normal are both early warning signs too.

I'm so useless at going to doctors, if i'm not ill when i go i feel a fraud, have been trying to work out whether i have a trigger, I work shifts late finish early starts and up to 14 hour days so I'm always tired, clumsy and daft!!!!![:)]
