Lucy just back from vets he wants to send her to see a specialist and have a biopsy performed. we need to ring insurnce company on monday to get permission.

Not such good news then Michael. I'm sure the insurance company will say yes, that's what your paying for after all.

How is she in herself? More importantly - how are you?

she still very subdued and just not herself. me i feeling a lot more optimistic now i have started the ball rolling. been to dr to an she has prescribed me some prozac, just started that last night.

Glad you are feeling better Michael. Prozac's good stuff, I've had it in the past.

justhad phonecall from vet, he did a bood test this morning. result is organs ok, white blodd cell count high but not worryingly. he said he is optimistic and wants to conduct biopsy on tues morning and then put her on steroids. claim form finally arrived this morning from churchill, we running out of money.

Optimistic news then Michael. Sounds as though it won't be too bad.

Insurance is great, but we do have to pay it out first don't we? Wish we could just pay the excess to the vet and then let the insurace company pay the vet direct. Much easier on the pocket.

Get that claim form filled in so you can get some money back quickly.

when i get repaid the money its going straight into my contingency fund, cos you never know. we have 3 dogs

I'm glad to hear that you are feeling better and the vet is optimistic for Lucy.

Some vets will claim directly from the insurance companies, so it might be worth asking if anyone has to take their animal to the vets.

My vet doesn't. Have to pay them and then claim it back.
