Well just got back from our face to face meeting with Melanie.
I have to say I was a little apprehensive before the meeting. But once I was there I was put at ease immediately. The meeting was at a local hotel so we only had a 40 minute drive rather than 7 or so hours to Cardiff - which was really appreciated especially with the problems with the car (I don't think the car would have made it to Cardiff and back again)
Melanie went through everything with us - being self employed I thought this was really helpful. It definitely put my mind at ease that we had looked at everything and can see any possible pit falls in the future.
I asked her about a million questions and they were answered easily and I have come away feeling very positive and uplifted. I am definitely glad we had a face to face meeting - I know it helped me greatly.
She was understanding when we told her our car had a £1500 car bill to either pay or to look for a new runabout.
We have signed our proposals and are awaiting to hear the creditors meeting date but it will probably be the 30th April.

At times like this I wish I had not said I would go tee-total for a whole year cos I could just do with a glass of wine. But the weight loss will be worth it!
