just had mercers on the phone again threatening me with doorstep collection, advised them that our creditors meeting was arranged for 28th - that company just keep on and on - i know we owe them money but i find them intimidating and bullying

oh well hopefully this wont go on for much longer.

does anyone know if mercer vote on behalf of barclaycard and if they generally vote yes or no?

thanks

she said to me on the phone that she was the manager as if to frighten me and even though the meeting was booked for the 28th i would probably still get a doorstep collection - i just said ok, yes and then said thankyou at the end of the call, i dont know if she is trying to make me shake in my shoes but to be honest i have had so many calls and leetrs i am becoming hardened to it now, i just listen to what they say and thats it

i must say they have been the worst creditor for nasty phone calls and letters - suppose they have a job to do but it just seems like they try to use scare tactics

hey ho - no doubt i will get a load more of those kind of calls in the next couple of weeks!!!

I've not had any dealings with Mercers, but I've heard that they are extremely nasty. Sorry I can't answer your question about Barclaycard x

I got so sick of Mercers bullying tactics I refussed to talk to them by phone and told them if they had anything to say to put it in writing - anytime they called again Iepeated myself and hung up e phone - never did get any letters.

KPMG voted on behalf of barclaycard ay my meeting.

Try not to worry about the doorstep collections Barb - thats what had me so worried but it never happened.

Let Melanie's office know they have been hassling you and try to put ut of your mind[:)]

It's only at the proposal stage at the moment. I'm not sure how long it normally takes after that.

I would wait for Melanie to confirm but I think KPMG votes for all Barclaycard iva's.
Can't be 100% sure but I think this is the case,

Any worrying calls just say that you will not corespond over the phone and for them to write to you.
Most of my creditors were very curtious but Mercers seem to have completely different tactics

try not to worry
