Hello everyone - can anyone help with a question, our meeting is tomorrow , mine is at 11.00 and my hubby's is 11.15 if they don't accept our iva's would they accept dmp's and would the dmp's be based on the same sums as our iva's ie would we pay the same into a dmp as into an iva. We are trying to stay positive - but not being very successful at the moment.

Hi Simbel, good luck for tomorrow.

In the unlikely event that your IVA is declined then other options can be discussed, I know this is so easy for me to say but do try not to worry, try and stay positive, I have been in your position and can remember how I felt so it's completely natural you feel the way you do.

I'm not sure about allowances in DMP v IVA so can't comment but I'm sure someone who does know will be along very soon. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

If your disposable income figure has been calculated correctly, it should be the same if you were to enter into a DMP - but I am sure it won't come to that!

Thanks guys for all your support - I think I'm ready for it now (one way or another). I have never felt this scared or helpless in my adult life. Doing stupid things as well - rang my ip company this morning just to make sure that they had my home phone number, tried the home phone number like 5 times (just to check that it works). Another hour or so and we will know our fate. [V]

I'm still home at the minute as I'm being lazy to go to town and hanging on, everything still crossed here for you as you say won't be long now. x

Good luck. Sure it will be fine.

I remember feeling totally sick and helpless when we waited for our call too, and every person that I know seemed to ring whilst I was waiting.
