Hello all

Following a couple of posts on here and lots of research i decided i would apply for an IVA and opted for The IVA Advice Bureau and Melanie Giles' team. First of all i would like to say they have been top class with their information and really helped me feel at ease in what i found to be a very difficult situation to confront. After the initial conversation with Tina i felt totally at ease.
Well the moment of truth has arrived, i have received notification that my creditors meeting is to take place on 31st July [:0] so i shall no my destiny in a week and a half.
So wish me luck and will let you know the outcome a week on Friday [:)]

Thanks for that elv5 and whetlor those were my exact thoughts, if only i had done this sooner i may have been finished my IVA by now or certainly well into it. Still i'm so pleased i have done it now but like you i have this feeling of nervous excitement. One moment i think if this is accepted it is such a load off my mind then the next i think what am i to do if it isn't accepted!! I have every faith in Melanie however.
Positive thinking needed on both our parts - best of luck for the 6th and good luck to anyone else out there with a creditor meeting looming.

I feel the same way if I had done something sooner I too would be very established into my iva but hinsight is a wonderful thing!!
But my advice would be to anyone reading the posts on this forum
pick up the phone/send an email just make that first intial contact
just making that first step could make just all the difference to sorting out your problems!!

Well best of luck dgh for the 31 I will keep everything crossed for you!!!!!!
