Hey sorry I didn't get back to you all yesterday n thank u! We had a friend stay whom Ive not seen since October, she can't believe how big bingo is! So I'm right in thinking bingo is a good size n it's all baby!

I hope it's not long, I don't think it will be either, my mind is set now, after 37 weeks which they call term & the fact bingo had steroids to mature her lungs, I can't see any reason to not get on with it, I don't want to go into labour b4 hand.

Your right Julie, I'm thinking of the recovery I had after a long labour & section, a planned one will be totally different, I think I'm just nervous because I know what's coming!

I hope u have a lovely holiday Lesley, I will keep both the forum & FB posted!

Will you have it done under epidural? That's what I did and hubby was in theatre with me. We were discussing holidays in the South of France with the anaesthetist!!

Yes they do them by a spinal block, same thing but more effective! Hubby is looking forward to wearing the funky green theatre outfit!
He never got to last time, my emergency section was that fast they didn't get him to change, just let him in, wrong really when I look back on it. Unfortunately they messed up it up as well, I was found bleeding hours after n had to go back in n nearly didn't make it, so in nervous.
But they won't mess it up this time, I'm insisting the consultant does it not a cowboy!

It will be because I will remind them! I do remember the anaethetist being brilliant though & I was very reassured listening to them prep women for c sections during my recent stays in hospital.

Roll on Wednesday!!![:)]

Lyn .. if you are thinking of having another later on, get them to fit a zip :-)

Seriously though, I am sure all will be fine and, at least with an elective, you will know where you are (hopefully in a hospital!).

Another plus point -- with a c-section, you can keep EVERYTHING crossed (although you will still get told off ... crossed ankles is a no-no.).
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

[:D] I'm cringing at the thought foggy! N no I won't be having anymore! The hubby has agreed to go through some pain, after everything I've been through!

And I'm looking forward to wearing those white stockings!

Could you not have your tubes tied at the same time you have the op rather than hubby having anything done?

It varies from hospital & consultant, some will do it at the same time & some want you to wait, will see what happens.

Hubby feels I've been through enough & just wants me & bump out safely without any further complications. I've had problems for years with hormone based contraceptions (hence how bingo got here!) so it's been on the cards for a while.

Ps: I've also decided if a hysterectomy had to happen it's not going to upset me to much as long as bingo is ok, thats all I care about.
