This is so bad moneypenny. I wish there was something I could do to help.

By now I know I for one would be very frustrated and do hope you get in contact them very soon and they have a very good reason as to their delay in replying.

This is a dreadful service, and I think that the next e-mail ought to mention that you will report this to the IPs licensing body if they continue to ignore you.

Quite agree Mel - this is a disgraceful service (or lack of).

i went on live help yesterday and Andy gave me my IP's email addres and a different phone number, sent email but it came back from the company **email address removed**, saying An automatically generated delivery status notification, Delivery to **email address removed** failed,
I then phoned the number and got an answer machine. tryed again today but still the same, i'll keep trying tomorrow thats all i can do. I need to disscus the letter with them, i also need to discuss this month standing order, as my husband brakes failed and he needed 4 disc and 4 lots of brakes costing £282.05, i have gone ahead and changed the st/or for dec to £42.95 which is what is left from our monthly payment so that we could cover the cost of the garage bill, I want to send them my shopping reciepts and garage bill, but because they havn't responded to my first letter, i feel i should wait. i'm at a loss at what to do next. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!! the tears are hard to stop.

**Sorry Moneypenny, I have removed the email addresses as we can't put them on the forum**

I don't blame you for reducing the standing order Moneypenny, getting the car sorted out needs to be your priority.

If you don't get a reply from your IP tomorrow I would do what Mel suggests and report them to their governing body as this is absolutely appalling.

I know it's easy for me to say, but please don't cry, you will get this sorted out and we are all here for you xxx

I'm sure your IP will be in touch once they realise that you have altered the standing order!

You have had an appalling service moneypenny and I hope you can get something sorted.

it's amazing they will contact you in a flash when they realise they've not received their full payment but for you to ask for help by contacting them is proving impossible. I sincerely hope you get through to them tomorrow. x

good evening everyone, hope xmas went well for you all, we got through it with a lot of tears and hugs, and we are so proud of ourselves, although hubby bought some baccy with xmas money from his mum, but its good to see him without steam coming out of his ears. and he is going back to the nurse to start another course of patches or pills, so thats a plus.I'm feeling a lot better at the moment, my children were brilliant and supportive, my older two found xmas strange with only one present to open, but my 8 yr old thanked us for managing to get the one present she wanted, a hamster. Thankyou all for your support and advice, if it wasn't for this site we would have sunk by now, be you are keeping us afloat, i thankyou from the bottom of my heart. xx

right now to update you on our situation.

I manged to contact our ip firm on 23rd dec, i was told that my supervisor was on holiday and had been a week previous. I asked to speak to the ip that represented me in court, and was put through to the insolvency manager of this firm, she said she would look through the post for my letter, put on hold, came back and said she had found it would look at it straight away and ring me back, i asked if i could speak to M..... M..... my IP, but was told that she would look after my case from now on, and there was no need to speak to him, i find that strange. anyway she got back to me and we talked at length, she reasusrred me that my monthly payment could be brought down to £300 per month, it started off at £380, i told her about reducing the monthly fee this month, and explained why, she said it was ok, and that to send in the reciepts for the garage and shopping, so they are in the post. She was so understanding, i could not believe the difference one person could make, my first supervisor made me feel like a leper, this lady has put some confidence back in me, i feel supported and human. The stress has begun to lift some. I still have to wait for the outcome of the decision, as it may have to go back to the crditors, but i feel good that i can talk to this lady with confidence instead of fear, i will keep you updated over the next month or so, i hope it won't take long. best wishes and HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL READERS. XXX

thankyou lesley for your kind words, I never ever want to go through something like this again, me and my hubby were falling apart, but we have come through the worst time of year, and are still supporting each other, he has agreed to go through the banking with me every month, and tomorrow is the first time in 10 yrs that he will be looking at any banking and everyday spending with me. we have planned to have one account for all our bills and a seperate account for everything else, i'm quite looking forward to it, and hope that our car problems are non existent for 2010. Happy new year to you, and many thanks.
