Well I've just made paymeny number 57, 3 to go and I'm debt free [:D][:D][:D][:D]

I can't believe this is my last Xmas in an IVA, it's been hard going but at last I can see light at the end of the tunnel, last payment March, after that I can start some serious saving [^][^][^]

I don't think I could have got this far without the support of this forum, also a big thank you to Grant Thornton who have been absolutely marvellous.

Happy Xmas everyone and thank you [:)][:)]
IVA COMPLETED ON THE 17th MARCH, FINAL I&E COMPLETED 26th APRIL, COMPLETION CERTIFICATE ARRIVED 2nd AUGUST

This is my first although it feels like the second really as we were going through the process this time last year and couldn't use credit to fund xmas anyway!, I can imagine it's dragging for you Jan, I can't begin to imagine how I'm going to feel in another 3 years

I'd like to think that next year would be the last one but as we'll have to do the extra 12 months there will probably be one after that as well.

Evening All.
Haven't posted in a while, but have been lurking.
Jan's post struck a chord though.
We should be on the homeward stretch now, but had the extra 12 payments added in lieu of equity.
the time is really dragging now, and we still have 17 payments left.
It's like wishing your life away, but i wish we were free of it now.

Mine too Northumbrian, i can't wait but it will come soon enough for all of us i'm sure, not so sure good idea for a ticker as it doesn't seem to be going down quickly, hey ho, my partner has just booked a summer holiday for us and his two children in July when i make my very last payment and then the following two months will be a reduced amount to make up a short fall, oh what a holiday that is going to be.
Om shanti, namesté, good luck to all who are embarking on the IVA journey, it isn't always an easy one but the outcome is the best.

IVA COMPLETED August 2012, received Completion certificate 18.4.13.
