After 6 yrs we make our last payment in Feb, is there anything we should do to make the closure process speedier

Well done Rockhound. Closure will happen and take its course. You do not need to do anything. Anyhow, you cannot speed it up. After your final payment and then final chairmans report, firstly check on the Insolvency Register to see if you have been removed. Insofar as your CC is concerned, it may be a few weeks or, sadly, it may take a few months depending on if you have any outstanding PPI issues.

Congratulations. After the final payment leaves your account, wait a few days for it to clear, then call your IVA company and confirm receipt of the funds. At this stage, you can then ask them if it is ok to cancel your d/debit or s/order. They should also at this point advise you of the next steps in the process and give you a timeframe for closure. Good luck.
