Hi all

My final payment will be made to my IVA on the 24th April 08 and (hopefully) that will be the end of the payment side.

I'd really like to know what I can expect now?

How long does it usually take to receive your certificate?

If I have any problems with credit reference agencies not being updated of my completion of IVA what should I do? I with Grant Thornton, has anyone experienced any problems with the at the end of their IVA (IP is Mr Gerrard and I deal with Jayne Moorman)?

I seem to be worrying more about life after my IVA than while I was in my IVA!

Your advice would be much appreciated!

Some people recieve certificates really fast. Hubby waited 4 months for his but i beleive usually you should be expected to wait no more than 3 months.

Your name should disappear from the insolvency register very soon after the certificate is recieved.

Send a copy of the certificate to each of the credit reference agencies and ask them to update your file. It should then show up as completed.

I would expect Grant Thornton to close your case within the next three months. Well done on getting to the end of the tunnel!

My F&F IVA was approved with GT last August. It was finished in February but only after I started calling GT every week. They are very good but you do need to chase them to get things moving.

Thank you all...

Got to admit GT have been a bit suspect recently.

Sending letters etc after I'd sent in payslips which they had retuend to me already.

It has been a hard slog but all in all worth the long haul.

And pm5, if you hav any questions just drop me a line.... always happy to help.
