Hey all I changed banks prior to my iva 3 years ago and now want to open a child account for my son with this bank does anyone know if my iva will effect this and if I stick my head up and they find out I'm in an iva will they close my account ? thanks

There should be no problem but a quick phone call to them would avoid any potential embarrassment in the branch.

hi, i opened a bank account for my son in july and had no problem with natwest. even though they wouldnt allow me a basic account due to being in an iva!!!! hope this helps.
