Just started 5th of a 6 yr Iva with payplann. My partner who is also running one along side me (joint depts) is on sick with depression after being bullied at work, yesterday the grievance failed - she is now down to half pay and we are worried sick about our future we have 2 kidd. Where do we stand re IVA. I'm now starting to get depressed. Any advice would be gratefully received

Speak to your IVA company, I know in the past it has been possible to adjust payments, or even offer all monies paid to date as a full & final settlement. I am no expert, but I do know you must contact your IVA supervisor to discuss your options. Hopefully they will be understanding and sympathetic to your situation.
IVA Completed August 2011

So sorry to hear that.

I agree that you should speak to your IP and see if you can get a payment break or reduced payments for a while.

Your partner may be entitled to some benefits so I would suggest that she speaks to the CAB for some help and advice.

If you are interlocking IVA's then in theory your side should be ok - it is a payment break/reduction on your partners side that needs to be readjusted.

However I understand that Payplan take whole of household income into account so I'm not sure what they would do.
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.

It sounds like an immediate payment break is needed while the situation stabilises. Then, if the situation has not been resolved within a period of six months for example I would look to have the IVAs closed down based on payments to date.

Your IP should be able to help here.
