I have just had the call from just lending bout the whole"" being released early with a secured loan twaddle" It says I don't have to take the options but I need to look into a remortgage elsewhere if I don't, This is really late as I am going to make my 60th payment this month, What I wondered if anyone can recall the two mortgage companies that gave online rejections that I could screenshot? I think one of them was The Chelsea building society and it was an ex PJG er that posted after they thought they were being forced into a secured loan by Creditfix, Any help would be much appreciated.

You could ask your existing lender who will be aware of the IVA and may confirm a rejection without carrying out a search against you.

I am really scared to do that as I have nightmares about them being reminded I am in an IVA and them removing my mortgage facility :|

Also how much do I have to look to release? I know I have a lot of equity so is it the difference between what I owed and what I have paid? I am being a total idiot!

It depends upon the actual wording and the interpretation your IP uses ,, and is limited by ceilings mentioned in the agreement as to payments being no higher than 50% of your IVA payment, as well as limitations on the term.

In some cases ( subject to the ceilings) they will ask you to seek to release the whole of the equity, in others 85% of the equity, up to a sum equal to your full original debt, plus fees and possible statutory interest, less the payments already made into the IVA.

So I will have to wait until I have filled in their forms etc.
I can't really do anymore until I know how much they want?
Apparently they have sent me letters....I had one from Credifix saying Just Lending would be contacting me in Sept and not a peep since

I had the same letter in my last month of IVA with CF (ex PDG) but luckily I had been through the equity release process and I had less than £5k so told Them that I had already been told my last payment was month 60. Just lending said they were just sent a list of clients who had paid all of their IVA payments on time regardless if they had to find equity or not.
