Hi

I am an animal lover, I have a labrador too, an african grey and five cats. I adore my two cats as I raised them from birth, they came into my life by accident, at a very difficult time and helped me focus on something else other than horrible events that had happened. They brought us together as a family, they were totally helpless and we so enjoyed caring for them. The others are a gift to my daughter from a friend and two rescue kittens.

I am not too keen on snakes or rodent like things, nor rabbits and deffo not spiders.

Well I have two dogs, a mongrel and a lurcher who are busily trying to rip each others throats out at the moment! (it's playtime!)

There's not much in the way of animals that I don't like. I like rodents if they are the domesticated type, rabbits, lizards, snakes (a few years ago I fulfilled one of my ambitions, which was to handle a snake - fantastic!), reptiles of all sorts.

Hate spiders, wasps, daddylong legs - most insects really.

My stepdaughter has two snakes and my son loves them, she let us hold one and it pood on him. I think it was a stress reaction though. I couldnt have rodents, not with the cats, rabbits are always looking good homes from the RSPCA.

I wouldn't dare have rabbits - Suzie would think I had got a snack for her! She hates small, furry animals!

Of course, I have actually been to the dog race track in Birmingham. A guy over the way has two retired hounds and they give my cats a run for their money!!

We have a few fish in the outside pond (only a small pond, and they're not Koi Carp!) I also encourage the birds into the garden to feed and nest. Love to watch them and we get quite a variety.

I only have my cat Harry.#

I like cats, rabbits, rats, dogs, mice - if it's furry it's ok, with the exception of spiders!

I'm scared of spiders, snakes, birds and fish - I thought I was the only one Mrs Skint!

They arent very cuddly...a bit too wriggly
mrs s... lol. They are big and in the pond outside. I have to very rarely fetch them out and have to hold them , but was brought up by a fisherman dad and went fishing a lot so quite happy to do it.

Oh Mrs S, you will be OK, they dont come out of the water and invade your house like spiders do. Just wondering if thats where your son gets his Whale thingy from? My son was scared of sharks when little and he thought if we had a flood sharks might come in and kill me, like if the washing machine leaked or something. My other son is terrified of wheelie bins so I have to keep mine outside the back gate. Strange isnt it?

I am terrified of maggots and thats why I dont do rabbits, they get fly strike. Oscar and Morgan were covered in them when found but they were cleaned up before I could take them.
