We have just completed our last of a 6 yr iva, i have been informed by payplan that we owe £1500 from years 2014 and 2015. Why was we not told about this at the time. I have asked that this be added to the end. I was informed it will have to go through the supervisor, what is the alternative? Can we be failed for this? We wasnt even aware of it.
This seems to be a common theme at Payplan recently ! On other occasions when challenged the sum owed has dropped considerably -- which makes me doubt the veracity of any of their figures !
If it were me they were dealing with and they even hinted at failing the arrangement because of their incompetence it would be akin to unleashing the horsemen of the apocalypse !!
First get them to explain, in detail, where this figure has come from and why it was not brought to your attention before.
In any event, as long as it doesn't relate to anything you have neglected to disclose, it is THEIR error and they should bend over backwards to assist you in repaying the money owed!
If unhappy with anything lodge a formal complaint, which you can then escalate to their regulators if need be.
