IVA's are declined, but if your IP has put it forward they are confident it will succeed. They wouldn't put all the work into the proposal if they weren't!

Good luck x

I have seen that ClearDebt's and Melanie's acceptance rate is about 98% (correct me if I am wrong) I am not sure of other companies. It costs an IP a lot of money to propose an IVA and If it is not accepted they get nothing for all the hard work. They want to put food on the table and will not want to be wasting a lot of time for nothing.

That's right for me Paul, cannot speak for ClearDebt thought. The general acceptance rate across the board is in excess of 80% - but of that about 40% generally are expected to fail. I am pleased to say that my failure rate is still below 10% - even in today's economic climate.

We have had posters on here before who have IVA's declined, but it isn't often.

Can I ask who your IP is?

They have a good reputation, so I am sure you will have no problems, they would not have put you forward if they didn't think they would get an approval.
