If I need something for going out I tend to shop at outlets rather than paying full price.

I'm even wondering if it would be possible to get my wedding dress altered and dyed so I can get more wear out of it!

Skippy - what a good idea! I have noticed over the last couple of years a lot of dress agencies setting up - that's another option for one off outfits. I love Kathy Van Zeeland Handbags and my sister has loads she won't part with (although she has loads of debt!) - I've just got one off ebay for £11.50 and it's gorgeous. Result!!

I'm not really into handbags and generally use the same one all the time unless I'm going somewhere. The last one I bought was a Radley one and I felt a bit guilty spending the money, but I know I'll use it until it falls apart!

OH's son is getting married next year so I've got to find something for that, so I'll probably be going to Gunwharf Quays outlet at some point as they've got some nice shops there.

Gosh you do all love to shop!!
I have been told by my friends I need a Gok Wan makeover??!! lol.
I am not girly in the slightest. I do not own a dress. Wouldn't be seen dead in one. Everything in my wardrobe is dark in colour. My shoes are all black! I have one every day handbag and two going out handbags.

My goodness. I think I DO need Gok Wan!! :(

I'm not into handbags either. I have one I use for work which is on it's last legs now and is crammed full of rubbish and I have one which I take out with me sometimes. I usually just carry my purse when I go out shopping.

My dresses at the moment are short ones worn over leggings and I possess one maxi dress which will be dragged out from the wardrobe for the FF meeting this year I think. It was only a tenner from New Look last year.

Shoes are a bit of a weakness of mine but they're all flat ones or they're flat sandals. I have one pair of heels and I have to cling on to hubby if I wear them!

Ooooooo Shopping & Handbags!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry I am just catching up on this whole thread!

But I will go back to the beginning of it & have to say, I think the only times I have felt like giving up was within the 1st 18 months.
I remember posting about it & many of you agreeing BR would be better & myself & the hubby sat down & discussed it. With no assets to protect & the struggles we were having & how we were feeling we nearly did give up. But luckily BE saw the light so to speak & it got sorted out. Even now our I&E is still not perfect & still a struggle, our journey has taught us some very valuable lessons. It can get frustrating & boring but we will all be free at the end. I am very proud of how far we have got & really want to get to the end. 24 more payments to go!

Now on to the shopping! I dont do dresses, I only have one dress which is the perfect black dress! Im more of a jeans/leggings & long tops. But I do love shoes & Handbags! I like to co ordinate my shoes with a bag! So I have about 10 in the bottom of my wardrobe! Being in a IVA they barely see daylight these days, but you just never know!
My hubby loves shopping & is more fussy than me, to be honest its me that gets fed up of him when shopping! I do tend to think before I buy alot now, unless its a bargain! I paid my first visit to Primark in the Easter Holidays, Loved it!!! Wish we had one closer to home!
Final IVA payment made in April 2013, never ever thought we could do it or get through it but we did! X

Never been into matching bags and shoes at all! I wear whatever I think will go at the time - I tend to live in boots most of the time and love them!

My hubby is a nightmare to shop with for clothes and shoes! I can go and pick something up straightaway - not him!

Hubby's worst thing is shoes as he has awkward feet! We can never send for any as they invariably end up getting sent back!

I now buy my clothes from Romanian Charity Shops or Jumble Sales and look for the items in there Bargain Bucket.
I now dress mainly in Rags and wear Old Sandals as i don't bother wearing socks anymore.
