My credit file still shows my IVA and date it was started and settled , its been settled for nearly a year but is still showing on my file after the 6th Anniversary of the court date ???
I though it would be removed like a default does after 6 years,!![V]

just ask for it to be removed, Equifax sometimes put it in the NOC section where it will stay until requested for it to be gone

normally it's the Equifax one that sticks, but they Have a UK number just can't find it right now, it's on a post hear somewhere. The UK call centre will remove it on the spot if it's stuck in the NOC

I would allow them 28 days after the 6th anniversary for it to drop off before contacting them.

Discharged today the 8th feb 2012. View is much brighter now.
Continuing to rebuild our credit worthiness.

Mine is still on my credit file nearly 7 years after my IVA started.Creditexpert picked up on this and said it should have gone after 6 years.
After explaining we are still caught up in the PPI fiasco they just said.Send in your completion certificate and we will get it removed immediately.
HA b***** HA,cannot have our completion certificate until Cleardebt finally sort out our PPI.
Seems to me that we are all being treated poorly as a result of the PPI which is no fault of any of us but we are being punished for it.....Cannot move on with our lives.
Even though we completely complied with our IVA and have finished all payments we are still being penalised.
