ha ha ha! I hear ya! I'm 45 this weekend and it's the 1st birthday ever to make me think I'm getting old, it's not in my nature to think like that, I'm usually very practical and think well there's nothing you can do about it so why worry, but this one has hit me hard.

I plan to drink to forget this weekend [:D]

I'm ahead of you fi - will be 47 next week. I did have a wobble earlier this year but niece and nephew tell me I'm such fun, it got me thinking positively again. If I am fun at 47 with a disability then things aren't that bad!

I'm 50 in January but hubby is only 48 next year! I'll be 51 when IVA finishes and when I graduate from my degree, so life will begine for me then!

I'm 60 in 2013 and if IVA continues for the further twelve months then I'll be 61.

Not a nice thought!!!!!!

I meant - I think I can climb Everest (only an example) my mind tells me I can but I know my body wouldn't allow it realistically.

No veins or anything and do workout to keep as firm as possible but I'm definitely slowing down to what I used to be!

Everest is not an option for me!!!

I do need surgery to get rid of the excess skin and do walk the dogs every day and do exercise on the Wii but the veins are hereditary so can't do anything about them! Hopefully they will continue to be painless!!!

Its wonderful that we are just below 50 and have managed to become debt free. Husband is 47, I'm 44. This is something we only ever thought we'd dream of and we still can't believe it. Your turn will come round quicker than you imagine. Hugs

I just started exercising a lot recently and I've did my knee in, that's probably why I'm feeling old, can't even exercise without injury ha ha!

Never mind Fiona!!!! It will get better!!

Even though I'm fast approaching the 'old git' stage in life I consider myself to be fairly fit and hopefully will continue to be like that for a good few years yet.
