Hi John

Absolutely - this is exactly what IVAs were first set up to do in the mid 1980's. What business are you in and how much do you owe to unsecured creditors?

Hi John,

Your business debts can be included as a sole trader, if you were a Ltd Company this would not be able to be done as the debts are the company's.

One thing I would be careful about is debt to any suppliers you may have, as putting this in an IVA will completely ruin the business relationship once had.

Hi
This is a very important point made by IVA experts, your business debts[overdraft, business creditors] will have to be included within your IVA so you will need to be sure that your business can still operate if you enter into an IVA.
