I've been in an IVA with GT since Dec 2011 and discovered this blog last Sept.
Fortunately my London flat has increased in value during last couple of years and I was pleasantly surprised to find I had significant equity at last last summer.
I contacted one of the experts from the Forum - Shaun Vickery at The Select Partnership for advice. He raised the possibility of a secured loan to pay off my IVA and I decided to pursue this through him.
My first offer to creditors was rejected in Dec 2013 but an increased offer was accepted Feb 12th !
I am now on my way back to re-building my credit history and my life!
I want to say a BIG thank you to Shaun at The Select Parnership and all the staff there who were always so understanding.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ! [:)]

Rita, thanks for the positive feedback, I'll make sure this is passed on to the team involved. Great to hear another success story not only for the IVA process itself but also for the forum.
