You should not need to extend on a property that is not yours. If you were renting then it wouldn't be extended anyway.

As lifenoteasy says - enjoy your freedom.

But if we're married ??

So why not extend as I believe if you can't remortgage they can extend ??

It doesn't make any difference. The property is not in your name. They cannot make you remortgage or take out a secured loan or extend the IVA.

As the property is solely in your partners name your iva will end in March ... start to plan now as March will soon be here and you will be debt free

I am not sure why your partner was even asked to sign the RX1 as the IVA was yours alone. This should now be removed and roll on next March.

Perhaps at the beginning they were not sure whether you had an interest in the property so got the RX5 to cover their bases. Now they have investigated and satisfied themselves that the property is in your partners name and you have no interest in it. Congratulations!
