Hi Everyone
Our IVA ends in November & we had our final review back in August which confirmed that in November we will have paid off all of our debt (hooray!).
Can someone tell us the process, do we just make our usual payment at the end of November & thats it? When should we receive notification from our IP and will there be one final review of payslips etc from August to November?
Thank you for any replies x

It would be better to ask your own IP this question, given that there may be things specific to your case which could delay completion - such as repatriation of VAT following the Paymex decision and the investigation of PPI claims which could represent assets still to recover.

Hopefully none of this will affect you - and do expect there to be a final review of wageslips just to ensure you have paid all monies you are required to into the IVA.

well done for reaching the end of your IVA - as Mel says specific detail for the closure process is best from your own IP as they will need to ensure all avenues are covered.

For now, you can sit back and for the first time in a few years enjoy Christmas knowing you are debt free.

It will be a while before your completion certificate and removal from the insolvency register but you can once the final payment has been released from your bank cancel the standing order ...you can then press ahead with new plans for your new debt free life.

Well done !

You know what cptreadwell you took the words right out of my mouth. An iva with Grant Thornton goes on and on with no end in sight.

Yes we are with Grant Thornton! Oh no doesn't sound positive. So when are they likely to review the last three months & ask for payslips etc? Just trying to get prepared although sounds like its not worth it!
thanks x

We paid our last payment 18 months ago and still no closure as our money has been allocated wrongly and they are trying to get it back
