Hi everyone....First time post but been watching for a while

I started my IVA on 1st Aug 2004 and partially settled in 2007....I have been waiting and waiting for 6 years to go bye quickly so the IVA will be removed from my file, but when i checked today it is still there...Can anybody please give any advice as I have been waiting for this for a long long time and now I am very worried that something is wrong.

Also the defaults etc and creditors whom were included in my IVA have separate listings on my credit file. If the IVA is removed will the associated defaults also be removed.

My main worry is that the default references will remain even when the IVA is removed.

any help is seriously appreciated ...thanks

I would write to the creditors and each of the three main credit agencies, enclosing a copy of your certificate of completion and ask them to update your records accordingly.
Well done on getting to this stage and lets hope things begin to look up for you !

It may be that it just takes a little time for the records to be updated.

The defaults after the IVA shouldn't be on there so contact those creditors and tell them to remove them.

Keep persisting if they take their time to remove them!
