I entered an IVA with DFD on 6th December 2007, a full and final settlement was agreed in February 2013. I am currently chasing my completion certificate, as I am desperate to move on with my families life. I have an opportunity to take a new job/move, but am unable to do so until the CC matter is resolved. I am currently on the Insolvency register, and believe the IVA drops off after 6 years, which was on Friday. Does anybody know if my name comes off the register shortly, or not until the CC has been received.

I must say, the advice on this forum has been invaluable over the last 6 years.

The IVA will not come off the register until you receive the CC but your credit file will soon be cleared up. Given the circumstances you should possibly email the DFD representatives on this forum and hopefully they can speed things along. The contact email address is DFDforumsupport@fairpoint.co.uk
