Hi

I was wondering if someone can offer some advise please. My iva completed in April of this year and I received my completion certificate shortly afterwards. I have recently checked my credit file and all the creditors that were party to the iva are still defaulting me, should they be? If not how can I put this right? I know the iva will stay on my credit record until next April but I wasn't sure about the defaults.

Thanks
Claire

Hi,

This does happen unfortunately. Write to the data controllers for those creditors still defaulting enclosing a copy of your completion letter and tell them to revert the default dates back to the date of IVA acceptance.
