So sorry you got that nasty scare, and congratulations on getting it sorted..
We're still working on getting rid of whoever or whatever is using these scare tactics .. if you get that fake warning page please just click out of it ...

Glad that you got it sorted Moneypenny. I always just click on the cross at the top to get rid and then run a scan just to make sure.

Mel, you are totally right. We're a great site trying to help desperate people and it's awful when people are stopped from going there.

There will always be someone out there trying to ruin others websites etc., just because they can, it's a shame as this forum is such a valuable place to so many myself included.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Hi Moneypenny

If you ever get this again don't worry it's a malware virus. To get rid of it downlaod a program called "Malwarebyets Anti-Malware" - there is a free edition if you google it and it cleans your PC of anything like this.

It happend to me but luckily I had an IT friend who let me know about this super free software and it works a treat!

I just closed down the page and it didn't harm my computer.
