Tonight i am going out with my workmates and we are going to the Wetherspoons Pub in Whitehall.
I am going to try a challenge and see if i can manage a good night out on £10 only.
I have my fares/Oyster Card paid for by my company and have no trouble getting home by Train ,Tube or Bus and instead of buying a paper on the way home i always get the LITE paper which is totally free.
I will buy my own drinks at Wetherspoons and i will see how i go and let you know how it went.

I came back with £4 change, i bought 1 drink for myself and my mate and he bought us 2 lager tops
and a girl we chatted up bought us another drink.
Great Night Out and hardly cost me anything.
Don't tell my missus she will go mad!!!

Naughty Naughty Andrew [:)]

Glad you came home with change though, if I do go out now I don't take my debit card just an amount of cash so I know thata all I have and no popping off to the cash machine for more money[:)]
Be positive & look after yourself, there are more important things in life than debts....

Best Wishes

Emma x

Of course, the old gits of the forum like me can remember when £6 could get you a skinfull of beer,
20 fags, a double bill at the pictures, fish and chips in newspaper on the way home, and still have change.
Them was the days, rickets, diptheria, morecambe and wise.

A bit before my time I'm afraid OT!

Dave's out with his friend tonight - he says they're making the most of it before lager goes up in the budget!

I have to say that as an IP I find Andrew's posts inspirational. He has only been in his IVA for a couple of months, but is willing to share his good humour and helpful tips with all of the other forum members - going to show that you only need a little money to have a good time if you are in good company.

Not too sure about the girls getting chatted up and buying the drinks though. Is this Womens Lib or Girl Power!

If you have any luck with the girls buying all the drinks please point them in the direction of the forum - they will probably need some help eventually.

Well done!
