hi all
Have not posted for a while but here goes.
Have just had creditors meeting. Both mine and my wifes IVA were accepted with modifications.
unfortunately we have to sell our touring caravan worth approx 6500 with 16500 finance remaining. absolutely gutted about this but at the same time pleased that the tiniest weeniest little pinprick of light at the end of a 3000000 mile tunnel. we just dont know whether to feel up or down at the moment.
By the way can anyone believe that our major creditor ( 71% of our debt ) did'nt even vote

we'll make it !!
we'll make it !!

Hi Roadrunners,

Congratulations on having your applications accepted. Can you tell us what the modificatons were? Were they just related to your caravan?

Kind regards,
Terry Balfour

Hi, and thanks for all of your support. The creditor who did not vote was lloyds tsb, but we had a call from the IP this afternoon to say that they had actually voted, and in time also with no mention of the caravan, so we do get to keep it !!! The Lloyds vote had apparently been handed to the wrong person at IP. Does this happen often??
Our Modifications were apparently fairly standard in the end
1. any windfall or inheritance greater than £500 to be paid into IVA
2. Annual review to be carried out by IP
3. No credit to be obtained over £500

Once again thank you all

sounds like you avoided the 50% overtime payment clause which is a good thing!
