I absolutely agree with Michael, on a purely fiscal basis the vast majority of people who opt for IVA would pay less overall in a bankruptcy than they would in an IVA.

By the way Michael, welcome to the 2000 club. Another spot on reply as well.

Regards.

Thanks Size5. Delighted to still be here and still enjoying it. Hopefully can get over and meet everyone in November if the missus gives me a pass. Difficult with a young baby but I reckon a nice Indian and bottle of Chablis might do the job. I ll get one in Saturday night and ask her when the wine is finished.

I am hosting a get together for all forum members who wish to attend - on 21 November in Walsall. You can find the details on the Frugal Friends thread, and you are more than welcome to attend for some early Christmas spirit and good cheer.

Try and come along Jon, it's my first one and I'm a tad nervous but so looking forward to it at the same time.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Try and make it Jon, I've been to a couple now and it's a really good evening.

Lesley, you'll be fine! I was really nervous when I went to my first one but everyone was so friendly x

It will be great to see you Jon - and everyone else who is thinking of attending, don't be nervous or shy - it really is a great way of having some fun and putting the debt issues behind us all for an evening!
