Hi this is my first post on this forum but hopefully it won’t be the last.

Today I’ve had my IVA approved![:)] I have been reading the many posters on here for the last few months and I would like to thank all the regular members for all the support and knowledge I have gained from reading this forum! This site is immensely invaluable for information, guidance and emotional support people give each other, and i have found great strength from this community.
I don’t have much opportunity to post frequently as my partner is a teacher and uses the PC a lot during term time, but I will now actively try and attempt to post and offer my experiences of coming to terms with my debt problems, through to beginning the process and learning to live in my IVA!

This site and the people who post on it (from the IP’s to the ‘social’ members!) really should be praised highly for the support you offer.

I am considering producing a blog on the blog section soon to give you some background regarding my situation, until then good luck to anyone who is in the IVA process, life does get better even if you don’t feel as if it can at the moment!

Congratulations Newera :) I can certainly recommend keeping a blog. Not only to give advice for others , but I have found it very therapeutic as well.

Well done for getting your IVA Accepted

it must be like a huge jumbo jet has been lifted off your shoulders.

Now you have done all the hardwork and gone through the pain barrier of setting it up, it is a massive relief to be accepted.

Just keep up the repayments, the creditors letters will soon stop as it takes a month or so to filter through and more importantly look forward too a debt free future in 60 months not 6000 months,

Congrats[:D][:D]
