Myself and my husbands ivas have today been approved!!!!The feeling of relief is massive. Words cannot describe. I am hoping this post will be a true inspiration for all those looking for a solution to their debt problem.
We were in 140k plus debt and things were looking pretty grim. From realising the true level of our debt (having had our heads in the sand for so long!)it seemed that at the time there was no solution at all. We then began to search on the internet for websites which dealt with debt solutions as we didn't have a clue where to start. It was there that we came across IVA.co.uk and it is comforting to be among people in a similar situation. We also took advice from the citizens advice bureau and CCCS both of which advised IVA as our debt remedy. Once we decided that IVA was our best debt solution, we then contacted an IP and we have never looked back. I am not going to say that it has been easy. Believe me, it hasn't. But there is light at the end of the tunnel and we are proof of that.
We hope to receive our report soon so once received, I will post it. Some of the creditors that we know of who voted yes are Northern Rock, MBNA, Barclaycard, Halifax (TIX) and RBS (TIX). I'm sure that it will make interesting reading!!
