I'm very lucky to have parents that pay for and drag me along on holiday [:D]
They did actually give me the choice of a foreign holiday next year or a week in a caravan. I chose the caravan! I love camping in the uk and my two nephews will come on a caravan holiday. Rain and whingeing teenagers, can't beat it [:D]
Camping is great athough it is getting more expensive these days! At one time I would just throw my tent in the car and disapear for a while. Unfortunatly I can't do it anymore.

Hi
We are having 2 holidays this year...house sitting for friends who live at the seaside for a week, and a Haven caravan courtesy of Tesco vouchers.....we are saving up £25 a month out of contingency money for some spending money, but otherwise will self-cater and food and drink will come out of the usual food budget.

Five years is a long time to not have a break, you just have to be creative about how you go about it!

Good luck!
