Hi Maria and welcome to the forum

You will need to check this with the FSA directly, as they do seem to change their policy from time to time.

I had a similar case about a year ago, and the FSA confirmed that an IVA would prevent the giving of regulated mortgage advice, but I feel that they may have relaxed this ruling of late. I am sure Welshboy (Tony Parsons) will be able to answer this one, as he is in the same industry as you and one of the forum experts.

I would agree with Melanie, you need to contact the FSA direct and explain your situation they will then advise accordingly. Tony
