iva and child tax credits

these awards can go down as well as go up can you ammend these payments with your ip as they occur or are you just stuck with the award you get at the start of the year.

You will inform your IP when they increase or decrease and fill out a fresh income and expenditure form.
Are they not normally set for a year ?

i think they are but seeing as (hopefully anyhow) get my iva accepted over the next few weeks
a tax credit award will happen halfway through an iva year .

ladyh

i have an up to date award statement which is 47 a week but it also says from april 2009 it is predicted my award will be 14 a week

(my eldest has left school )

I don't think that you will need to stamp your feet! Your IP will only put forward affordable figures, because these will be provided by you. And there will be flexibility built in to ensure that any reduction in your benefits is taken into account.

Don't stamp too hard, LadyH - it doesn't do the stiletto's much good! I guess you are lucky that you are on the downward route now and can see beyond the end of the IVA.
