Our IVA was accepted on 24th Aug ( Sorry only now letting you all know, been away visiting family). We had the phone call within 30 minutes of the meeting starting after insisting that they tell us the same day not within 48hrs as they had originally suggested. The Fees were reduced from £18,000 to £8,500 making a difference from 46p in the £ to 63p in the £. We also had an increase of £13 per month which is fine, it works out that we are £35 better off each month than on the DMP we were on. So here is to the next 59 months.
A BIG thank you to all of you, for all your help and advice, you have all been a rock over the past few weeks!!!

Hi Jasperyogi

I'm really pleased for you. Your situation wasn't caused by reckless spending. You were living within your means until you had to stop working to look after your child. With the reduction in fees your creditors are getting approx two thirds repaid so an all-round good result. Looks like the only ones losing out are your IP firm who have had their fees reduced by £9500!!

Regards
