We made our FINAL payment on 16th August into our IVA, and then we went out for a meal to celebrate.

I cant believe we have finally finished. We probably won't notice the difference for a while as there are things that need doing, but its knowing that we don't owe anyone any more money. We are FREE.

I just wanted to say thank you for all the help and advice you have all given me. I am not sure how we would have survived without this site.

DFD have been great and we can't fault them, even when we have had hiccups. [:)]

And now, its the start of the rest of our life. Its kind of scary because we are not controlled anymore, and feel we are going out there into the big wide world on our own again. But, I know that our life will now be a very different one to what we have previousley had.

We have started making plans for our future, and we are so happy right now. [:)]
Its now time to start living and to make some some wonderful memories!

Not long for you now then 12 months!!

You'll have to check with your IP about how many I&E reviews you will have to go through.

12 months- I called DFD yesterday to confirm the final payment, and they never mentioned an i & e. They just said that it could take a while for certificate as they needed to wait/chase creditors for their final claims.
We paid 5 and half years. We were due a review last December bur received a letter from DFD to say that due to only having 6 months left they were not carrying out a final review, as there would not be any changes.
I have to say DFD have been great. Even the lady yesterday was great on the phone with the information she gave me. She was really helpful and told me what to do after we received the certificate. x
