My husband has just calculated that £30,000 @ say 19.5% interest paying 3% of the balance each month would take 32 and one half years to repay and the interest would be £29,740!!! J

Hi kazza welcome to the forum and i hope that you get this sorted out soon. The 5/6years will go very quickly and there will be sometimes when you want to tear your hair out but neverless the fact that soon you will be able to put this episode away will be worth it. Good luck and best wishes.
Om shanti, namesté, good luck to all who are embarking on the IVA journey, it isn't always an easy one but the outcome is the best.
IVA COMPLETED August 2012, received Completion certificate 18.4.13.

HI
It so good to join this forum. I like the idea of Michaels Peoples thought of a consolidation loan, but this time you can not carrying using the cards which I what I done before!
It is hard going and I hope nothing unforseen happens but I do feel so much better and can sleep at night.
Like Jan we will be getting close to retirement when it ends which is a sobbering thought.
Good Luck
Linda
