But last week I started coming out in a rash on my hands no idea why, so took a little trip to the doctors who kindly informed me that i have had a reaction the the alchol on my skin, after 9 years of working in different pubs this is the first time it has happen. now i have two options continue working as the money does come in really handy when times are really tough or i quit.....?

Hi leanne

Not having the best of times really are you? I am so sorry, have you been more stressed of late (as if I need to ask). In my job, I used alcohol gel, all day every 2 seconds, was hand washing as often with hibiscrub. I never had any problems until I was at the peak of my debt stress, does your GP know about this? It may be worth considering.

I hope this helps, sorry things are not going your way at the mo

Yeah i explained to the doctor how stressed i am, but once you develop a reaction you've got it for life....!

I have to laugh though as one of the girl at the pub has bought me some glitter gloves....i guess they dont want me to leave, at least i will bring some glmour to the place in thoses.

Hi leanne

I never like acting for clients who have taken on a second job just to pay their IVA payments, as it really does put you under pressure. But you should be admired for doing so!

One thing you must not do is continue to put your health at risk merely to fund IVA payments. Do you have any assets which would be at risk in bankruptcy? If not then I would give serious consideration to this as you have to keep your hands for the rest of your life.

Are there any other part-time jobs you could consider - supermarket shelf stacking might provide the same sort of money?

Good luck!

I wish there were!

But because of all my experiance running a bar plus runnning my team in my full time postion, plus knowing the owners really well i get paid £13.00 an hour for doing 5 hours three times a week, i'm not sure if could earn £200.00 a week from another part time job which gives me a little bit of a socail life for free (its drink as much as you want for free, well in my case three glasses of wine and a diet coke).

My partner wants me to quit as he feels im working too hard, but i like to work if i dont work i think too much and really start to worry about my situation.....And the vicious cycle continues

Hi leanne

I dont think this not thinking thing is working, just as I see it. I feel you need to stop, have a long hard think about what you are doing and just how much stress you are under, sometimes we dont realise until we get off the rollacoster for a think.

Enjoying work is one thing but I think your body is trying to tell you something and you do need to listen to it. Work out where you are now and where you want to be in future (the goal post) Is the transport (your body) actually going to make it at the present rate?

hope this makes sense

Good luck
