Once in an IVA is it possible to move companies if you feel dis-satisfied?

Hi dlp
To the best of my knowledge you cannot change companies. Why are you unhappy with the one you have ?
Others will also answer in more detail.

In theory its possible but in practice it would present far more problems for you than any benefit you would gain.
You would be far better of to address your dissatisfation to the IP and try to get your issues resolved. Don't be fobbed of by case managers etc, insist on talking to the IP.

Agree with Cattalus. Changing IPs whilst in your IVA is a notoriously difficult, lengthy and expensive process. You would be better advised to try and resolve any differences you have with your IP.

I agree with others who have posted, I think the best way forward in your case is to try and resolve any issues you may have with your I.P.

However if you have tried many times and are still dissatisfied with your I.P's service, I believe you could make a complaint to the Insolvency Practitioner Association (IPA).

Be persistent with your I.P and only contact the IPA as a last resort.

The only way this can be done is by the resolution of creditors at a variation meeting, which needs the agreement of your current IP, or a Court Order. This will be nigh impossible to do, and costly for you at a time when all of your surplus income should be directed to the creditors.
